THE COMPANY

TACSA, Tecnología Argentina en Cintas S.A., is a company located in the town of Hurlingham, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic. With more than 40 years of experience in the manufacturing and commercialization of electrical insulating tapes, it is the leader in the Argentine market, offering the highest quality products that meet the requirements of the electrical, hardware, automotive, and industrial sectors.

It exports mainly to Brazil and other countries such as Chile, Paraguay, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, and Costa Rica. What began with the manufacturing of PVC insulating tapes and rubber tapes has evolved into an extensive product portfolio ranging from adhesives, sealants, heat-shrink tubing, cable ties, masking tapes, packaging tapes, and drywall tapes to multipurpose aerosol lubricants, and more.

Our insulating tapes comply with the European RoHS directive (EU 2015/863) and the international standard IEC 62321. Through laboratory testing, we guarantee that our components are free from dangerous concentrations of substances such as lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and mercury. This ensures safer products for your projects, which are responsible for the planet and ready for the most demanding markets.

CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL SAFETY

TACSA, safety is a fundamental requirement in the development and manufacturing of our electrical products. Products covered by Resolution 236/2024 of the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce of the Ministry of Economy feature certifications issued by accredited bodies, such as IRAM, which endorse their compliance with applicable technical and safety requirements.

The validity of these certifications is maintained through regular surveillance controls, audits, and evaluations, ensuring the continuous compliance with established standards. The traceability and authenticity of the certifications can be verified through the enabled digital query systems, providing transparency and permanent access to updated information.

ENVIRONMENT

At TACSA, we understand that sustainable growth requires balancing economic development with environmental care. Therefore, we continuously work on improving our processes, promoting the efficient use of resources, waste reduction, and the prevention of environmental impacts.
As part of this commitment, we implemented tasks aimed at the recovery and reuse of materials some time ago. Among them, our solvent recovery system allows us to recycle more than 95% of this resource, contributing to the reduction of raw material consumption and more efficient management of the generated waste.
